The Cheshire Cheesy 5K Run &
Walk is a family friendly run & walk that will coincide with the 2nd Annual
Cheshire CheeseFest, happening Saturday
July 7, 2018. The event will kick off with a fun kid’s 1/4 and 1/2 mile run
around Cheshire Elementary. Directly following, the fun 5K Run & Walk will
start and end in front of the Cheshire Cheese Press Monument. Finisher’s Medals
will be given to all participants!
It’s a cheesy 5K, so dig out
your best costume and make it fun!
After the race, head over to Cheshire Elementary for the 2nd Annual
Cheshire CheeseFest, which kicks off at 11:00am, and is promised to be bigger
and better than our first year! A festival that is sure to have something for
everyone; from cheese to wine, live music to craft booths, it’s sure to be a
fun filled family event!
Race Time: Kids 1/4 & 1/2 Mile Fun Run – 10:00am
5K Fun Run & Walk – 10:15am start

Registration fee includes race entry, new swag bag and FREE entry into the
2nd Annual CheeseFest!
The course will
start and finish near the Cheese Press, located on the corner of School Street and
Church Street. The course will wind through the local neighborhoods and
incorporate an out and back on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail providing a fast
and flat course for all participants.
